Running a business means engaging in services that will affect the environment in many ways, some impacting our planet worse than others. At OneO2Plants, we strive to reduce our carbon footprint and waste while ensuring our services run efficiently.

OneO2Plants is conducting a one-month trial of autonomous mowing technology at a hospital in Singapore, exploring how smart technology can support more efficient and consistent landscape maintenance.

Throughout the trial, we will collect operational data to assess productivity, mowing performance and overall efficiency, while evaluating how autonomous solutions can support our landscaping team and improve service delivery.

Reducing Paper Usage

Most of our paperwork is on an online database where we can freely check maintenance dates, plant inventory, and many more. Plant Nurturers can check their schedules on their phones instead of having a piece of paper. Working on an online database allows us to stop relying on paper products for our daily operations. In turn, there is a lesser impact on the trees and environment.

Green Activity

At OneO2Plants, sustainability is part of everything we do.

We don’t discard used pots—we circulate them. By offering them freely to our community, we reduce waste and encourage mindful growing.

Transport and Delivery

Petrol and gas emissions are major contributors to air pollution and global warming. Carbon monoxide gas emitted by vehicles can cause adverse health effects on the environment and us as humans. As such, we have switched to electric lorries, which do not use petrol or diesel, instead running on renewable energy. Our services mainly consist of delivering and transporting our pots and plants to your location, so using electric trucks will ensure we provide you with the best service while reducing our carbon footprint.

The Nursery and Our Office

Lights, air conditioning, water and electricity consumption are all utilities consumed daily. We prioritise energy-saving opportunities, choosing LED lights instead of fluorescent bulbs and installing water-efficient products for our taps and toilets. In addition, we ensure all our employees are well aware of ways to save energy, water, and resources in and around the office.
